This a common question! Whilst we acknowledge that many factors contribute to weight loss, the latest evidence supports the early introduction of a tailored exercise program to help you burn more energy, and that programs which combine both exercise and nutrition support result in better outcomes long term - this means keeping the weight off!
What other benefits can come from exercise if I'm trying to lose weight?
Often individuals that are looking to lose weight, also have other health conditions that could benefit from exercise, such as blood pressure, cholesterol and/or pre/diabetes. Evidence demonstrates that those that participate in an exercise program that incorporates both strengthening exercises as well as cardiovascular exercise will enjoy the benefits of exercise on both blood pressure and cholesterol as well as other aspects of their health including bone density, insulin sensitivity and mental health.

That's great! If you are working with other medical, allied health professionals or fitness professionals, we look forward to communicating with them frequently so together we can best support you to create long term strategies that work.
We also offer the HEAL program in selected locations for those that prefer a combination approach of group based education, support & exercise alongside our individual exercise sessions.
