Exercise physiology programs can be tailored for those with disabilities by designing programs to address specific needs such as increasing independence in activities of daily living, improving general wellness, engaging in the community, improving overall strength and capacity, and improving independence with social activities.
NDIS Category?
Optimum Exercise Physiology are a registered NDIS provider for exercise physiology and are covered under the following support categories:
The process to get you started:
1. Initial Assessment – this is where we meet to discuss your health and wellness goals, undertake a health and physical assessment and formulate a plan about how we can provide exercise therapy to assist you to work towards your NDIS goals;
2. Quote - We develop a quote for your future services which will be itemised so that you know what services we will provide, for how much, and for what period of time we recommend. This is so that you know exactly where your funds are going upfront. This may also be shared with your plan manager if you wish/if requested.
3. Service Agreement - This service agreement will need to be completed before starting your chosen services with us, and it outlines the following:
4. Regular Bookings – following completion of your service agreement we will work with you to provide a regular booking schedule and provide this to you in writing. This way it is easy to work any other appointments you have around this schedule and/or book carer support to assist you to attend when needed.
