Lisa Parkinson - Exercise Physiologist & Diabetes Educator
Lisa is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist & Diabetes Educator who is passionate about helping people live their lives to the fullest by improving their physical and mental health through education and movement.
Lisa founded Optimum Exercise Physiology in 2015 with her vision to enhance the health of the Clare Valley Community. Lisa is passionate about the use of exercise and lifestyle interventions & education for the prevention and management of diabetes, heart disease and other chronic conditions. As the owner and Senior Exercise Physiologist & Diabetes Educator in her private practice she helps a wide range of clients from amateur endurance athletes to the elderly and a diverse range in-between! As a certified wellness coach and Educator in Diabetes she enjoys providing lifestyle and behaviour modification as part of her treatment, and as a stand alone service. Lisa is an active member of local sporting groups, enjoys running along local trails, and loves to enjoy water sports with her family along the River Murray. |

Izaac Boylan - Exercise Physiologist
Izaac began his exercise physiology studies to learn more about the human body. He quickly found an interest in helping people to move better, improve their functional activities and improve overall quality of life. He has an interest in musculoskeletal injuries and exercise for oncology, however enjoys helping all people reach their movement goals.
Izaac has an honours degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology from the university of South Australia. Izaac enjoys playing cricket in the summer and football in the winter, loves getting outdoors whether that be camping or running, and loves being a part of sporting clubs. |

Thomas Harrison - Exercise Physiologist
Thomas grew up with a keen interest in working in the health field, and following commencement of studies he very quickly found a passion for exercise physiology and the immediate effect it has on peoples lives. Particular fields of interest are in musculoskeletal illness and injury and metabolic conditions, while also appreciating the outcomes of exercise and rehabilitation on return to sport or return to work.
Thomas grew up on the Gold Coast, completed his studies in Townsville, and began his working career in Port Macquarie. When he is not at work you will find him out camping and 4 wheel driving, watching or playing sports with particularly interests in rugby and tennis. |
Bindi Manser - Client Experience Officer
Bindi is passionate about working with people and enjoys contributing to positive healthcare experiences. Working in Dementia Care and volunteering for the SA Ambulance Service for the last eight years has given Bindi the opportunity to meet and participate in the care of so many amazing individuals and their families. Bindi says she's excited to be part of a team that is so invested in helping people from all walks of life and with varying abilities to work towards their holistic wellness goals. Bindi has an interest in working with people to improve their mental wellness and when not on the desk at OEP, runs her own Art Psychotherapy practice. Bindi spends her free time painting and getting out in the garden on sunny days.
