Lisa founded Optimum Exercise Physiology in 2015 with her vision to enhance the health of the Clare Valley Community. Lisa is passionate about the use of exercise and lifestyle interventions & education for the prevention and management of metabolic conditions, heart disease and other chronic conditions. As the owner and Senior Exercise Physiologist, Diabetes Educator & Nutritionist in her private practice she helps a wide range of clients from amateur endurance athletes to the elderly and a diverse range in-between! As a Nationally Recognised Nutritionist, Certified Wellness Coach and Educator in Diabetes she enjoys providing lifestyle and behaviour modification as part of her treatment, and as a stand alone services. Lisa is an active member of local sporting groups, enjoys running along local trails, and loves to enjoy water sports with her family along the River Murray. |

THOMAS HARRISON

Thomas grew up with a keen interest in working in the health field, and following commencement of studies he very quickly found a passion for exercise physiology and the immediate effect it has on peoples lives. Particular fields of interest are in musculoskeletal illness and injury and metabolic conditions, while also appreciating the outcomes of exercise and rehabilitation on return to sport or return to work. Thomas grew up on the Gold Coast, completed his studies in Townsville, and began his working career in Port Macquarie. When he is not at work you will find him out camping and 4 wheel driving, watching or playing sports with particularly interests in rugby and tennis. |

Since completing her Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Flinders University, Ashlyn has developed a strong passion for helping others discover the positive impact that exercise can have on both physical and mental health. She enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities, supporting them to return to the activities they love and experience the long-term lifestyle benefits of being active. Ashlyn has a high level of experience in delivering evidence-based exercise programs for the prevention and management of chronic conditions, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and improving overall health and wellbeing. She has also worked closely with children and clients with disabilities, including those with cerebral palsy and autism spectrum disorder, and has gained experience across inpatient, outpatient, and virtual therapy settings—supporting clients through post-operative recovery, chronic disease management, and rehabilitation as part of a multidisciplinary team. Ashlyn brings a supportive and encouraging approach to her clients, helping them feel confident and motivated in their journey toward better health. When she’s not in the clinic, Ashlyn enjoys spending time with her friends and family and relaxing on her property in Loxton. |

With comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based exercise prescription, Josh delivers his services with a warm, welcoming, and client-centred approach. He is known for his friendly nature and genuine commitment to improving quality of life through movement. Outside of work, Josh enjoys staying active through running, sport, and strength training. You may often see him running along the Riesling Trail with his two border collies, Fergus and Bonnie. |

Client Experience Officer After spending more than two decades in Adelaide, Sarah has returned to her rural roots.
She brings with her over a decade of valuable administrative experience, which she applies to her current role. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time outdoors, catching up with family and friends, and indulging in a winery lunch now and then. Staying active with Pilates is also important to Sarah who is also a trained pilates instructor. |

RUTH STEVENS
Admin & Finance Ruth comes to Optimum EP with a long background in administration and is a finance guru.
Ruth provides support to the team and clients on Monday's and back up support on other days. When Ruth is not working (she's meant to be semi - retired, shhh!! 😊), she loves to keep active walking, playing tennis and the gym, and loves to spend time with family and friends. |
